Hard at work at the play dough factory! A perk of having all the girls in morning session is that by the time En gets home on the school bus around 2.40pm, Min & Wen are well rested & naps have usually been completed so they get to hang out together. I've been working hard to try and create large spaces of free time for them so that we aren't always rushing from one activity to the other. I'm trying to let my kids stay at home a lot more than we usually do. And this schedule is really helping my cause!
this afternoon, we took out containers of playdough that Hwee Ling had given us, as well as all our different playdough cutters, moulds, and equipment and the girls spent a marvellous hour or more working together, creating, and having fun! Yes, there was a lot of playdough on the carpet after their play was over, but it's ok, better the carpet than the floor! Playdough is so therapeutic! En really enjoyed playing with her sisters when she got back!
